What a wild few weeks it has been. For those that don’t know, here in SC we were a direct hit with Hurricane Helene in the early morning hours of September 27, 2024. The devastation to homes, businesses, power lines, infrastructure of all kinds was unlike anything I have ever personally experienced before. From what I have been told it was almost 2000 broken electric poles, and over 7000 miles of wires that had to be repaired. I had to shut down the website for a month until power, and the internet was restored, mostly. And I am lucky. Many in my area are still without internet access, though to the best of my knowledge power has been restored to everyone. And I am sure there are areas in NC, FL, TN, and GA that are still struggling and digging out from the rubble as well.
And I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the countless linemen and emergency workers, volunteers, friends, and neighbors for jumping in to help anyone who needed it. Some of you are still tirelessly working round the clock and I can assure you it has been much appreciated. Power, water, and the internet are lifelines.
But now we are back in business and ready to ship again (the holiday season is coming fast!) And much excitement, I have 9 brand new never before seen designs up and ready! But inventory is very limited so don’t wait too long to order.
